In the later sixteenth-century Berlin Codex Destailleur 'D', S. Urbano is identified as the Temple of Mars, probably on the basis of the weapons and armour in the internal stucco frieze and the knowledge that there was such a temple outside Rome on the via Appia (Kammerer-Grothaus 1971, p. 203f.)
Kommentar: Die Datierung in die zweite Hälfte des 16. Jahrhunderts ("later sixteenth-century") ist nicht begründet.
