Gruter, Jan
- 1560–1627
- best known for his Inscriptiones antiquae totius orbis Romani (ca. 1600), which is largely based on Martin de Smet's Inscriptionum antiquarum quae passim per Europam liber (ed. by Justus Lipsius) and, therefore, is based on Jean Matal's collection in the Vatican Library. (He is included here even though he has no direct connection with the Accademia, but his influential work is largely based on the Accademia's achievements.)
