  • architect, mostly for the Farnese family in Rome, Caprarola (?) and Piacenza
  • probably in Rome since around 1540
  • was asked by Tolomei in a letter of late 1547 to measure the Baths of Caracalla, but not only the ground plan
  • "incitato da Tolomei a rilevare monumenti romani [Pino 1592: III, 154–155]
  • worked together with Jacopo Meleghino at the apostolic palace
  • drew his own map of Rome, engraved by Beatrizet and published by Lafreri in 1557, according to [Ehrle 1911] based on Bufalini's plan from 1551
